The hallways of Wolfram and Hart were a bit overwhelming Giles noticed as he moved through them. He'd already seen several species of demons, and had to push his Watcher training aside and not kill them. He understood some of them were clients and he wasn't there to cause problems. Even though he wanted to.Giles still didn't understand why Angel, and the rest of them, had taken this job. He knew the firm had been a thorn in their sides for years and it just didn't make any sense for them to take over the enemies' playground. Yet, despite all of his misgivings, he was still there and walking toward the science lab.Fred had called Willow days before, announcing that Spike was still alive. It'd been a shock to all of them, considering Spike had been engulfed in a rather large fire - at least according to Buffy. It had been the amulet he was wearing, it caused Giles to become concerned. So when Willow told him she couldn't go, he decided to make the trip to Los Angeles, figuring it might be something worth researching. When he got to the lab, he was greeted by Fred. Willow had told him about the scientist, and everything Willow had said was right. Fred was quite talkative and it took Giles a good ten minutes to pull her back to the subject at hand since it seemed all she wanted to talk about was what happened in Sunnydale.Fred ended up handing him a few files on what she'd found out about Spike and the amulet so far. He tried hard to balance them in his arms the best he could. There was a lot of go over and he was glad he'd decided to get a hotel room for a few nights."Wesley has the rest of the files," Fred said, looking over at Giles. "You know Wesley, right?"Giles owlishly blinked his eyes. Wesley was there? He hadn't seen him since…since he left without saying a word. Taking a deep breath, he looked down at the floor. Of course Wesley was there. After all, it would seem Angel and he were practically joined at the hip nowadays. He didn't want to see Wesley. Not now, not ever. Giles knew he still cared about him but it'd been too long since they'd seen each other and knowing Wesley would willingly come to the firm… he just didn't want to see him. Still, he knew he had to if he was going to figure out the amulet. A short visit to get the files wouldn't kill him."Where's Wesley's office?" Giles finally asked.Fred wrote the directions down and handed them to him. With a small 'thank you', Giles left the lab and followed Fred's directions. When he came upon Wesley's door it was cracked open. Giles' arms were full and he couldn't knock so he pushed the door open with his foot."Wesley."
Wesley sat in his office, tapping his pen against the desktop as he stared at the source book in front of him. He must have read the same page at least four times now, and still he hadn't managed to absorb the information he had called up. Sighing, he put the pen down to push himself away from the desk and stood up, rubbing his hand over the bottom of his face.Rupert was coming to the firm. In fact, it was quite probable that he was there already, down in Fred's lab. So, Rupert was there, and he was up here, waiting for him to arrive in his office as he knew he would since Fred had said she needed his help in this situation with Spike as well.It had been two days since Fred had told him that she had called Willow to ask for her help and that Rupert would be flying to Los Angeles instead since the witch was unavailable. And for those two days, he had been trying to figure out what he would say the moment Rupert walked through that door. How could he explain what he had done, leaving while Rupert was out, flying back to England without a word?At the time, when the notice had come from the Council - from his own father, no less - it had seemed the only thing to do. And after he had done it, he had known that returning to Rupert's life would have been impossible. He had hurt him badly with what he had done even though he had done it to try to protect the man he...loved.So he had been practicing what he wanted to say to him, what he had tried to tell him so many times on the phone and had never been able to say. But the moment he heard the door open and turned to see Rupert standing there, files in his hand, everything went completely out the window."Rupert," he said softly. "I--we're glad you've come."He stared at him for a moment, wanting to say more, but he couldn't make it come out. He wanted to reach out to him too but didn't dare touch him either."Wo--would you like to sit down? Fred appears to have weighed you down with quite a bit of information there."
The moment he saw Wesley, a rush of emotions came over Giles. He remembered the last time they had seen each other in Wesley's hospital room. It was a grey morning, with a light rain falling. Giles was on his way to a meeting with the Sunnydale school board and had stopped by to check on Wesley. When he came back that evening, after being fired from being the librarian, he discovered Wesley was gone. The nurse at the front desk told him Wesley had checked out that morning. He called everyone he knew but no one had seen the other man and Giles was left with a hole in his heart.Months later, Buffy would return from Los Angeles, where she'd tracked down Faith, and told him Wesley was working for Angel. Knowing Wesley had become one of Angel's allies had driven Giles over the brink. Soon he was drinking even more to just forget Wesley existed, and to dull the pain of Buffy not needing him anymore. And now he was standing in Wesley's office, surrounded by volumes of old books - a lot of them books he recognized as Council books. Giles didn't know what to say or do so he just stared. Wesley looked different. Gone was his stuffy attire; replaced by more casual wear."Pardon?" he asked when Wesley offered a place to sit. "Oh, right." He looked around the room and found the couch as the best bet. Sitting down, he balanced the files on his lap. "Yes, she did. Quite talkative, isn't she? I'm afraid I won't be able to read most of her research. It looks to be science in nature and, well, science is one area I never excelled at."It was awkward and Giles found himself talking before he thought about the words. "How's Angel as a boss working out for you?"
Wesley watched as Rupert walked over to the couch and sat down. His mind was screaming at him to say something, to explain himself and what he had done, but he simply stood in front of his desk. Rupert instead told him about how he didn't think he'd understand much of Fred's research into the matter, considering it was scientific in nature."Yes, Fred can tend to be quite thorough, especially with the scientific aspects of things," he finally said, stepping away from the desk and over to the table nearer the couch. "It's one of her rather endearing qualities. Hopefully, my files will be a little more understandable from the mystical point of view on the amulet."He was just reaching out to pick up the files when Rupert asked his question, arresting his hand in mid-air as he winced at the tone in his former lover's voice. "It's...it's been...all right, I suppose," he said. "I helped out with a case and just ended up staying. Of course, he wasn't always the boss. I was in charge for a while until..." Suddenly, he stopped, uncertain about what he had been able to stay, his brow furrowing. "Well, something happened, and I stepped down. Then we came here...because..."He looked up toward the ceiling for a moment, his mind a whirl of confusion and guilt, keeping him from thinking straight. When he finally opened his mouth again, there was only one thing he was able to say."Rupert, I'm sorry."
When Wesley finally reacted to his question, Giles almost wanted to smirk. He saw how uncomfortable it made him and there was a small part of Giles that was glad for it. Yet, he couldn't bring himself to do it. This was Wesley, the man he'd loved years ago. The man he still harbored feelings for."I believe your father mentioned your new position when I went back to England to get information on Dawn," he said. His brow furrowed for a moment as he wondered why Wesley couldn't remember what had happened to cause him to lose his position as boss. Was it because of something Angel had done to him? A bit of anger stirred within, knowing he would throttle Angel if he ever found out he had hurt Wesley.Giles shifted on the couch and looked down at the files. "Fred mention you lot came here to fight evil from the inside," he said, motioning his hand around. "I've seen a lot of evil things since coming here and it doesn't seem like you're fighting it." He paused for a moment and shook his head. "And that was quite rude of me."He was about to ask for Wesley's files when the other man apologized. Giles blinked his eyes and thought of what he could say next. Perhaps he needed to be honest. "Sorry for what, Wesley? For working for the man who killed Jenny, and then later tortured me, or for walking out of my life when I needed you the most?" he asked, his voice starting to fill with emotion. "Do you even understand what it was like to be fired by the school board and then to find out the person you love was gone without any explanation?"
Wesley raked his hand through his hair when Rupert mentioned that it didn't appear that they were fighting much evil now that they were here at the firm, feeling a bit defensive even though he wasn't saying anything that he hadn't thought himself several times in the last few weeks. "There's been...complications," he told him with a sigh. "Apparently, there's more to running this place than was thought."Even that sounded weak to his own ears. But their discussion turned as instead, he found himself apologizing. He knew that it wouldn't be enough - it could never be enough - especially when Rupert responded, his voice filled with pain. Pain he had caused even though he had thought he had been doing the right thing."Sorry for everything," he finally said, feeling that he had to explain. He had to at least tell him even if he still hated him and wanted nothing to do with him ever again. "I didn't want to leave you in Sunnydale, but I didn't have a choice. My--my father called me while I was still in hospital and told me that I was to report to London immediately to face the tribunal for what I allowed to happen with Faith and Buffy." He took a breath and looked down at the floor. "He knew about us, Rupert. I think he had someone watching us and reporting - it's the only way they could have found out so fast about any of it. He said that if I didn't leave immediately, they'd bring you into it. They'd have your green card revoked and cause problems for you. My father even threatened to use your past as Ripper against you."He swallowed deeply and ran his hand over his face. "I didn't feel I had a choice. I figured it was better you hate me than lose everything because of me and my father. And by the time I started working with Angel, it seemed the only thing I could do. I didn't think you'd want me back in your life again after I walked out." He finally looked over at him. "So no, I can't understand what it was like for you. I will never pretend to because I don't have the right."
Giles listened to Wesley's words, a mixture of anger and understanding washing over him. He hadn't Roger, probably not as much as Wesley did, but he still despised the man and everything he stood for. Knowing he had been the cause of Wesley leaving him, made Giles want to fly to England so he could throttle the git. Perhaps one day he would.Standing from the couch, Giles circled around Wesley, wanting to reach out and touch him, but he stopped himself. There were things he needed to say first. "You should've came to me, Wesley," Giles softly said as he stopped in front of him. "Your father likes to pretend he has control, but he really doesn't. We could've handled it together. I understand though and I probably would've done the same thing if I had been in your position."He took a step forward, closing the gap between them, but not standing too close. "You were always welcomed to come back. I was angry but I got over it. Instead, I missed you every day you were gone and..." Giles paused and reached up, and ran the back of his hand over Wesley's cheek, feeling the rough stubble underneath it. "I'm not mad anymore. I just...I feel a bit empty without you in my life."
When Rupert circled around to stand in front of him, Wesley swallowed and looked into his former lover's eyes, waiting for him to tell him how weak he had been, how much he had hurt him. But he didn't, instead telling him that he should have come to him...and that he understood. Then he stepped closer and told him that he would have always have welcomed back. Wesley couldn't believe it. He had hurt the man he loved by walking out on him without a word and hadn't even been able to explain himself in four years...and Rupert was forgiving him?"I missed you terribly," Wesley admitted, closing his eyes for a moment when Rupert ran his hand over his cheek. He had missed him and his touch, the way he made him feel. His father had told him he had always been a disappointment, and his feelings for another man had proven he had been right, but he could never, ever see his feelings for Rupert as wrong. In fact, they had seemed to be the only good thing he had had."Was never...didn't..." He opened his eyes again as his hand crept up to rest against the other man's chest. "Can you really forgive me for what I did?"
When Wesley asked his question, Giles sighed. "Yes. I understand now and I know why you did it. Your father didn't give you any other choice so you did what you could to protect me and I'm grateful you did, even if you were a bit thick and did it on your own," he said. He looked at Wesley, not sure if he was believing him or not.Stepping forward, Giles slid his hand to the back of Wesley's neck and pulled his closer. Without saying another word, he pressed his lips against Wesley's. After a moment, Giles found his tongue nudging Wesley's mouth open, knowing he needed to taste him again. He deeply kissed the other man for a few moments before pulling back."Does that answer your question," he murmured as he looked into Wesley's eyes. "Or do you need me to repeat it?"
Wesley heard the words, trying to let them really sink in. Rupert understood and forgave him? It seemed like something out of his dreams - it could be real. He was going to wake up and find that he hadn't even gone to work yet. Then he felt the warmth of Rupert's hand on the back of his neck and the closeness of his body and then the feel of his lips on his. He moaned softly, having wanting this to happen again for so long now, having thought it would never happen again. Not after he walked out. But now it was, and when Rupert deepened the kiss, any doubts that Wesley had about whether he forgave him were put to rest. Finally, they pulled back slightly, their eyes locking. A slow smile spread across Wesley's face at Rupert's question. "I don't know. I think I might need you to repeat that. Just to be sure..."Before Rupert could respond, Wesley leaned forward again and captured the other man's lips with his own.
Giles smirked when Wesley asked for him to repeat it. He was about to say something but found himself silenced by Wesley's lips. Sliding his hands up Wesley's back, he brought him so their bodies were pressed together. He continued to kiss him until he needed to breathe and pulled back."I glad you understand," he said as he tried to catch his breath. Giles pressed his forehead's against Wesley's and smiled. "I do believe we have some files to go over."Stepping away, he picked the files up from Wesley's desk and looked at him. "We could go to my hotel and work on these. My room is only a few blocks from here," Giles suggested. He then blushed a bit and looked down at the floor. "Only if you want to. If you think we'd get more done here, then we could stay here."
Wesley moaned softly into the kiss, especially when he felt Rupert pull his closer. He had missed feeling him this way, touching the familiar planes of his body, having him touch him. When they finally parted, he took a deep breath, fighting to control the reactions in his body, the need that he felt rising after not being with him for so long."Yes, we do have some files, don't we?" he responded softly, looking over toward his desk as Rupert went over to it. He hated to admit it, but Spike's situation had rather taken a backseat in his thoughts. He knew Fred was worried about him, and of course, they'd help him. When Rupert mentioned going to his hotel to work on the files, Wesley arched his eyebrow. He realized that the invitation didn't have much to do with working at all, and truth be told, he didn't mind that. He looked around the office and shook his head. "I think going to your hotel would be a very good idea. Much easier to...examine everything without interruptions."Crossing over to the desk, he reached over to pick up the files. "We can take my car if you'd like. It's down in the car park under the building."
"Yes, we wouldn't want to be interrupted while examining something important," Giles murmured as he went back to the couch. He picked up the files Fred had given him and looked around. He noticed a bag on the floor, near Wesley's desk, and walked over to it. "I won't be able to carry all of these and I forgot my bag at the hotel."He slipped the files into Wesley's bag and stood from the floor. "I hope you don't mind, love...Wesley..." Giles furrowed his brow. "No, love is better." He grinned at the other man and wait until he had gathered everything before walking to the door. Pausing for a moment, he turned and looked at Wesley again."I'll allow you to leave the way. I do believe I'd get lost in here," Giles said with a small chuckle. "I'm quite used to smaller venues. The new Council building is a bit smaller than this building, if you can believe it. It would seem now that Travers is dead, things have become more simple there."
Wesley watched Rupert as he crossed the room, especially when he bent over to pick up the files. It had been far too long since he had been able to enjoy this view, and it was quite wonderful to do so again. When he straightened up and brought the files back over, he nodded at his putting the files into his bag before raising his gaze up to his face, smiling when Rupert called him "love"."Love is definitely better," he agreed. He picked up the bag Rupert had put the files in and added the files from his desk to it along with the source book, figuring he could show it to him later. Once everything was packed away, he slung the bag over his shoulder and walked over to join Rupert at the door.He raised his eyebrow in surprise at the comment that the Council building was actually smaller than the Wolfram and Hart building now. "I would have never thought the Council could do anything simple," he stated before stopping briefly at his secretary's desk. "Jennifer, I'll be out of the office for the rest of the day. Anyone calls, transfer them to my voice mail. I'll pick the messages up tomorrow."He then turned back to Ruper, leading the way across the reception lobby to the lift. "It sounds as though, as bad as it sounds to say it, that what happened was a good thing for the Council," he mentioned as he pressed the call button. He wanted to take Rupert's hand but didn't dare while they were still in the lobby - there were several people there he didn't want getting any sot of information they might think to use against him. He wouldn't put Rupert in that position again either, not so soon. "How have things been going there?"
"It's coming along," Giles said with a small smile. "Of course we have quite a bit of opposition but I suppose that's to be expected. Not a lot of the board members are happy with us in regards to making all the Slayers." The lift door open and Giles stepped in with Wesley.Twenty minutes later, they were standing outside the door of Giles' room. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the keycard before sliding it until the slot. When it clicked, Giles pushed the door open. "You'll have to excuse the mess. I actually got in late last night and couldn't sleep so spent time researching the amulet, which got me no where."The bed was covered with books and pads of paper. Giles started toward it, to clean it off but stopped. What if Wesley had came there to really research? He turned toward the other man and said, "We can research on the bed or at the desk." A small giggle escaped his mouth. "Remember when we used to tell Buffy, and the rest of them, we couldn't patrol with them because we had to, um, research? I don't think they ever caught on, do you?"Stepping forward, Giles snaked his arms around Wesley's neck and looked into his eyes. "We could really research now, if you want, or we could do the other kind of research. Your choice, love."
Wesley was glad to hear that things were coming along in the Council rebuilding despite the fact that he had been fired for what had happened in Sunnydale. He was sure, of course, that his father was one of those who didn't like the changes, especially since there were so many more Slayers now. It meant less power for people like him because Rupert was right - that was what Roger Wyndam-Pryce got off on. Always had.He decided, though, that he didn't want to think about the Council or his father anymore, especially when they reached Rupert's hotel room. Following him inside, he looked around, noting rather happily that some things never changed. There had always been books and papers around when they had been together before. In the library. At the flat. Seeing it all again now was familiar and made this all the more real. He was really here with Rupert. He was about to tell him that the research that he thought they had in mind would probably be quite uncomfortable at the desk when Rupert continued on, mentioning how they had used research as an excuse to sneak away together. He smiled, especially when Rupert crossed back to him, close."I rather think this research can wait," he said lowly, dropping the bag he was carrying to the floor with a thump to make his point. He wrapped his now free arm around Rupert to pull him closer. "And I think I need a refresher course in the other kind."Leaning forward, he gave him a long, deep kiss.
Giles chuckled at Wesley's statement and shook his head. "It's been quite a while for me too, love. Suppose we'll have to teach each other then," he said before Wesley captured his lips in a deep kiss. He felt himself start to stir; he'd wanted this for so long, and now Wesley was finally with him again. He pressed against the other man, making sure he felt his arousal before breaking the kiss. Giles fingers started to quickly unbuttoned Wesley's shirt. He then pulled it out of his trousers and tossed it to the floor. "You've filled out some," Giles said, running Wesley's chest, which looked a bit more muscular now. "I like it."His mouth found Wesley's neck as his hands moved down and undid Wesley's trousers. Giles slipped a hand inside and ran his fingers over Wesley's shaft before pulling Wesley's trousers and boxers over his hips. "I've missed you so much," he whispered before kissing him again.
Wesley groaned when he felt Rupert pressing against him, his erection obvious, and began to harden himself. He wanted him so much - had wanted him here like this for so long. It seemed like something out of his dreams, but oh god, it was so real. So wonderfully real.Letting Rupert push his shirt off, he shuddered a bit when his fingers ran over his chest. A blush creeped over him at his compliment. "I--fighting demons one on one tends to build some muscle," he said, his voice strained from the feelings Rupert's touch was arosing in him. "Oh God."His head fell back as Rupert kisssed his neck and his hand touched his cock. His hips bucked forward slightly. "Need you, Rupert," he told him, kicking his trousers and boxers away. "Need you so much."As they kissed, his hands managed to find the buttons of Rupert's shirt, undoing them. But he didn't push it off and instead moved down to his jeans, quickly making short work of them."I've wanted to see you like this for so long," he whispered against Rupert's lips as his hand encircled his love's cock.
"Bloody hell, Wesley," Giles hissed when he felt Wesley's hand around the shaft of his cock. He bucked his hips forward, groaning against Wesley's mouth. "Need you too, love." Giles pressed hard into Wesley's hand, his own still stroking the other man's cock. He knew if he didn't slow down, he'd come right then and there.Shrugging off his shirt, he pushed Wesley toward the bed, both of them tumbling down onto it. Giles told himself to be patience and not push for too much, too soon. It was hard telling when Wesley last made love with a man, and he didn't want to hurt him.Instead, he hovered over his lover and pressed his erection against his. Giles dipped his head down and deeply kissed Wesley as he continued to rub and grind against the other man's erection. When he needed air, Giles broke the kiss and gasped as he looked down into Wesley's eyes. His heart swelled and without thinking, he softly muttered, "I love you."
Wesley was so focused on the feel of Rupert's hand on his cock and the sensations running through him that he didn't realize he was being moved backward until he landed on the bed. Rupert leaned over him, and Wesley hissed when their shafts slid together, precum making them slippery but not easing the friction. Then he found himself lost in a passionate kiss that had the emotions of four long years behind it. He wanted so badly to be able to just pull Rupert inside of him, but it had been too long since he had done this. He hadn't been able to be this way with any other man since Rupert - he was the only man he ever wanted to be with. The only person he wanted to be with, in all truth. When the kiss broke, he looked up into Rupert's green eyes and, at his words, felt his heart pounding in his chest. "I love you too, Rupert," he whispered back. "Always have."He cupped his hand to his neek, arching his body up against him as they continued to rub together. "Want to feel you in me again. Please."
Giles didn't have to be asked twice to do what Wesley asked of him. Pulling away, he leaned down and gave Wesley a quick kiss before rolling off the bed. He was quite sure he'd seen a small bottle of lotion in the bathroom earlier. Quickly going there, he found it next to the small shampoo bottle and picked it up."I hope you don't mind smelling of lilacs, love," he said with a small chuckle. He held up the bottle of lotion so Wesley could see it too. "Only thing I have on hand right now." Kneeling on the bed, Giles positioned himself between Wesley's legs. He encouraged the other man to put his knees up before squinting some of the lotion in his hand.Giles used the lotion to lather his fingers with before he moved closer to Wesley. "If I start to hurt you, tell me so I can stop," he murmured as he pressed one of his fingers against Wesley's entrance. With a deep breath, he pushed the finger forward and slowly wiggled it around before adding another finger. "Feel all right?"
Wesley found himself sighing in slight frustration at the loss of contact with Rupert when he got up to go into the bathroom. He knew it was necessary and they needed to slow down a little or this would be over before it even started, but part of him didn't want to waste another second of touching him.Looking up at Rupert when he came back into the room and joined him on the bed again, he gave him a smile. "Doesn't matter what I smell like," he said, his voice low and strained. He bent his legs up, spreading them open to give Rupert access and let out a groan when he felt his finger push inside him. "Dear lord," he mumbled, his hips pressing forward as another finger joined the first. It was a little painful after having been so long, but at the same time, there was pleasure and an anticipation that overrode it all. "God, Rupert, feels so bloody good. Oh...just like that...please..."
The last thing Giles wasn't to do was hurt Wesley. He had it in his mind if he pushed too hard, too soon, the other man wouldn't want him touching him again. But when Wesley started to plead with him, Giles pushed those thoughts out of his mind and pushed forward. He inserted another finger into his lover and carefully stretched him out.He knew it had to hurt so he reached up and slowly stroked Wesley's cock. Giles continued to thrust his fingers into Wesley, being careful not to push too far; he didn't want Wesley to come just yet. And when it seemed the other man was ready, Giles stopped stroking him and used his free hand to lather his own erection with the lotion.Pulling himself up to his knees, Giles moved between Wesley's legs. He reached down and gripped the man's hips and looked down into his eyes. "I'm ready and I'll take it slow, love," he whispered as he push forward. His cock slipped past Wesley's entrance but Giles didn't push any further. Instead, he waited for a moment and started to push himself further in until he reached Wesley's hilt.Wesley was tight and warm, and Giles had to stop or he was sure he'd come right then and there. After take a few deep breaths, he started a slow rhythm as he leaned down and deeply kissed his lover.
The addition of the third finger hurt, but Wesley bit it back, wanting this more than anything. After what had happened, after Rupert understanding and taking him back, it seemed the pain was the least price he could pay for the wonderful pleasure he knew was in store.Like when Rupert started to stroke his cock. Moaning, Wesley shut his eyes as his hand clutched at the bed cover. It was almost too much - too much too soon - so he had to fight to keep himself under control, not wanting to lose the delicious edge he felt yet. Not until after Rupert was inside him and he could really feel the man he loved again. When he felt the hand let go of him, he opened his eyes, breathing hard as he looked up into Rupert's eyes. He knew this was it, a moment he had been dreaming about and wishing would happen again for four years. A moment he had thought would never happen again. He nodded in understanding and kept his eyes locked on the green ones above him as he felt himself being stretched open and filled by Rupert's cock. He reached up to grab his shoulder, trying to relax, moaning as both pain and pleasure threatened to overwhelm him."Oh, love," he exhaled, a shudder running through him once Rupert was completely inside him. Then he began moving within him, and Wesley lifted his legs, pressing his hips up while kissing him. The slight pain didn't matter, just being here with him, having him inside, having him back. Reaching up, he wrapped his arms around Rupert, gasping as his cock rubbed against his stomach, trapped between their bodies.
He didn't want to hurt Wesley, and he kept having to tell himself not to push too hard, or too fast. Giles had been waiting for this for too long and he was barely hanging on. So, when Wesley reached up and pulled him down for a deep kiss, Giles was grateful for the distraction. His tongue mingled with Wesley's and when they broke apart, Giles grinned down at him."I see you still drink that awful tea," he said in a teasing voice. Lowering his head, he increased his thrust and nipped at Wesley's neck, tasting the salt of his sweat. He licked along his lover's pulse before hooking his arms under Wesley's body. Once he was anchored to him, Giles pressed his forehead against Wesley's and started to shudder."Oh...bloody hell...Wesley," he groaned out as his orgasm quickly burst forward. He pushed himself all the way into Wesley and cried out. Panting, he continued his movements, wanting to feel Wesley come between them. Pressing his mouth against Wesley's ear, he whispered, "I love you so much, Wesley."
"I rather like that tea," Wesley told Rupert before groaning as his lover's lips and tongue found his neck. He tilted his head back - Rupert was the only person he'd ever do this for, the only person he'd ever trust enough to bare his neck to. And it felt so bloody good, especially when his tongue trailed along the vein, causing a shudder to run through his body.He continued to press his hips up, wanting more of Rupert, needing more of him. He had long forgotten about the pain, only focused on how good it felt to have Rupert within him like this. Then he felt him begin to throb, causing his breath to catch in his throat as a moment later, he felt Rupert's warmth flood him.He was getting close himself, hanging on the edge as Rupert continued to push into him. His balls were tightening, and Rupert whispering his words of devotion as he rubbed against him one last time was all it took to send him over. With a cry, he let go, his cock twitching as he came on both of their stomachs."Oh, God," Wesley groaned, turning his head to look into Rupert's eyes. He reached up to run his hand through his hair. "My Rupert."
Giles moaned as he felt Wesley erupt underneath him, his warmth spilling around between them. When he called him his Rupert, Giles smiled down at him. "Always, my love," he whispered before deeply kissing him. He shifted a little and felt himself slip out of Wesley, and he moaned a little.Rolling off his lover, Giles picked up the towel he'd used that morning, and wiped Wesley and him off. Tossing the towel to the side, he laid next to Wesley and smiled at him. "I still think that tea is quite disgusting. Now that I'm here again, I'll have to teach you how to pick out proper tea," he said with a cheeky grin.He nuzzled his nose against Wesley's neck, smelling his aftershave mingle with the smell of sweat and sex. It was a scent only they would ever know and it made his heart swell with joy, and love. "You can't ever leave me again," Giles whispered against Wesley's skin. "I can't live without you."
Wesley bit back his groan of disappoinment when he felt Rupert slip out of him. It had been so long, he hated losing that feeling so soon, but at the same time, he knew that they would have so much more time together. He would make sure of that.He smiled instead as his lover used to the towel to clean them up before reclining next to him. Reaching over, he ran his hand through Rupert's hair - it was so wonderful to touch him again like this."Hmmm...I'm looking forward to your tutelage," he said, returning Rupert's grin. He had never liked his choice of tea, not even when he had lived in Sunnydale. He was sure, of course, that Rupert was still drinking his favorite kind as well. "There's a very nice little shop near here I'll have to take you too."When Rupert whispered to him while nuzzling his neck, Wesley felt his heart catch in throat and closed his eyes for moment. "Never," he told him, his voice low. "Nothing can make me ever leave you again - I swear to you, Rupert." He pulled him close and pressed kisses into his jawline. "I didn't realize how incomplete I felt until you walked into my office. I need you in my life. I love you."
Giles allowed Wesley's words to wash over him. They deeply touched him and he knew Wesley would never leave again. He felt it in his heart. Never again would he spend another night alone, wondering if he'd ever be with the person he loved the most in the world. Nothing would ever tear them apart again."I've actually brought some tea along. I had to make a quick trip to India to retrieve a Slayer there. Her family, who was a bit confused on what to do with her, was grateful I was there to help and they gave me a rather large tin of tea. Supposedly they blend it themselves," Giles quietly said, his fingers drawing some designs on Wesley's bare chest. "Perhaps once we find a kettle, I can brew you a cup."Snuggling closer, the sight of Wesley's bag caught his eye. "I don't believe Spike will be very pleased to know we're shagging instead of working on his case," Giles said, a smile crossing his face. "The wanker can wait for all I care. It was bad enough when he was chained up in my bathtub and I had to babysit him. Besides..."He pulled himself up and started to kiss Wesley's chest. When he got to his lover's stomach, he looked up. "Ready for another go? I promise to do all the work this time," Giles murmured before he softly kissed Wesley's soft cock.
Wesley smiled at the thought of good Indian tea although he briefly wondered how in the world Rupert got it past American customs. Then he realized this was Rupert. Probably charmed any customs agent that tried to stop him just by saying hello."That sounds quite wonderful, especially if it's a homemade blend," he said, looking down at his lover's finger on his chest. He suddenly thought of where they could easily find a kettle and hoped Rupert would agree. "I--I have kettle back at my flat. If you'd like...you can come stay with me. You don't need to stay here at the hotel." He paused for a moment, realizing how that almost sounded. "I'd like if you came and stayed with me. I want you with me."When Rupert snuggled closer, he rested his head against him and chuckled at his comment about Spike. "You babysat him? That must have been a horror in and of itself." Honestly, he wasn't all that worried about getting around to helping the vampire either. The blond prat had a bad habit of calling him Percy, and it was getting on his nerves.Of course, all thoughts of Spike went out the window when Rupert started kissing down his torso to his cock. He groaned, feeling himself beginning to harden again at the feel of his lips. "That answer your question, love?" he asked in a strained voice.
Giles was licking the underside of Wesley's cock as he pondered his suggestion. Go back to his flat? He rather liked the idea of being with Wesley as much as possible. Plus, it would seem he still had a kettle and the American lifestyle hadn't taken over his life quite yet. With his hand stroking Wesley's shaft, he looked up at him. "I would love to stay at your flat," he said with a smile. He dipped his head down and ran his tongue over Wesley's balls, and smirked. "Yes, I babysat Spike," he mumbled against Wesley's skin. "Long story. I'll tell you later." Giles could feel Wesley getting harder in his hand and wanted to finish what he'd started. "Now, enough questions, love."Giles moved his mouth up again and gingerly licked the tip of Wesley's erection. He moaned at the taste of his pre-come, almost forgetting how wonderful Wesley tasted. Looking up at his lover, Giles slowly sucked the head of Wesley's cock into his mouth and twirled his tongue around it. It'd been years since he'd done this but it seemed it was like riding a motorbike, and one never forgot. With his fingers stroking the skin under Wesley's balls, Giles moved further down the other man's shaft, taking him deep in his mouth. When it touched the back of his tongue, he pulled up and moved down it again. Soon he found a rhythm of sucking as his finger pressed against Wesley's entrance.
Wesley groaned, barely hearing Rupert when he agreed to come stay at his flat with him, his blood was pounding so loudly in his ears. "Good," he told him, thrilled that his lover would be there with him, that he wouldn't be spending any more nights alone. Then he felt his tongue on his balls, causing him to tighten up for a moment. "Oh, so bloody good,"He was rather glad when Rupert told he would tell him about Spike and babysitting later since thinking about the blond Billy Idol wannabe, as Lorne called him, was not exactly conducive to what was currently happening between him and the man that Wesley wanted to be solely thinking about. Grasping the comforter of the bed again, he felt his breath catch in his throat when Rupert took his cock into his mouth, and everything else was most definitely forgot. Oh, how could he was at this - how good he made him feel.Wesley wasn't sure how long he was going to last when suddenly, he felt Rupert's finger press against his entrance and push inside, sliding in easily since he was still stretched out from earlier. Gasping, he threw his head back, the world spinning from the feelings battering his senses. His hips bucked, and his muscles began to tense, all from what this man was doing to him."Rup--Rupert!" he managed to cry out in warning before he came again, white exploding behind his eyes.
Giles continued his movements as he pushed his finger further into Wesley. He stroked the spot that he knew would give his lover the most pleasure, and groaned at the sounds of pleasure Wesley was making. He sucked him in deeper, humming softly around his cock. When Wesley started to tighten around his finger, Rupert took him deeply, readying himself for what was to come. When he felt Wesley's warmth fill his mouth, he could and swallowed it down. Once Wesley had stopped his spasms, Giles removed his finger and wiped it clean before moving up and deeply kissing his lover.Breaking the kiss, he laid beside him and smiled. "Not to sound like a teenager, but I do hope this means you want me in your life again, Wesley?" he asked, glancing over at him.
Wesley panted heavily as he slowly stopped throbbing, trying to catch his breath. It was an amazing high, feeling this way. He didn't know how he had managed to live without it for so long. When Rupert moved up and kissed him deeply, he could taste himself on his tongue and moaned. He wanted so badly to taste Rupert now since it had been so long, but he needed a chance to recover. Instead, he reached over and wrapped his arm around Rupert, holding him close, his eyebrows raising at his question."Of course I want you in my life again," he told him. "I can't face the thought of you not being in my life ever again."He swallowed as a thought along those lines did actually cross his mind. "Which...what are we going to do? I would imagine that you'll be expected to return to England after you've helped us with Spike, and I'm...I need to stay here. At least for now."
Giles felt his heart swell with joy when Wesley said he wanted him in his life. He had spent many nights wondering if they would ever be given a second chance at this. He cared deeply for the other man, something that didn't chance, even after he left him behind. "Thank you," he said, stroking Wesley's face. His smile faltered a bit when Wesley asked his question though. Deep down, he wondered if Wesley was staying because of Angel. It hurt, thinking the man he loved was going to turn his back on him so he could help the creature that had already taken so much for him. The emotions started to well up again and Giles had to pull back."I don't know," he quietly said as he looked down. Giles didn't want to leave Wesley but he knew he had to help with the Slayer problem. There was so many to take care of now. "I don't know if I can leave the Council now." He looked up at him and sighed. "Can't you bloody be away from Angel for a while? He survived two hundred years without you. Why does he need you now? I need you more, Wesley!"
Wesley had closed his eyes when Rupert stroked his face, but at his answer to his question, he opened them again, looking at him in concern. He could hear the emotion in his voice, knew him well enough to know that something was rolling under the surface. And then he asked him whether he was staying for Angel, and Wesley felt his heart squeeze at the sound of betrayal in his voice. He cursed himself, realizing that he should have explained why he needed to stay from the beginning. Instead, he had hurt Rupert. Again."It's not...it's because of Angel that I have to stay," he told him, feeling his throat ache, reaching up to cup Rupert's face. "If it was just Angel, I'd leave with you in a heartbeat, be on the next plane, even if Spike was still a ghost. I'm--I have to stay because of Fred, Lorne and Cordy. They're my friends, Rupert, and I care about them very much. I can't leave them to that place on their own. The firm will eat them alive. Cordy's already...already hanging by a thread."He looked down for a moment. "I...I already left someone else when he needed me. I can't do that to them too. Please, tell me you understand." He raised his eyes back up and leaned forward to kiss him gently. "You mean more to me than anything in the world, but I need to stay for those three, at least for a little while."
Giles looked at his lover and thickly swallowed. He understood better than anyone about the choices people had to make, and how those choice affected others. He always wondered if things would've been different if he hadn't left Sunnydale because he thought Buffy was depending on him too much. "I understand," he whispered against Wesley's lips. He pulled back to look into his eyes. "I know what it's like to have to make a decision, knowing it'll affect the ones you care about." Giles looked down for a moment before looking at Wesley again. "When Willow brought Buffy back from the dead, I rushed back to Sunnydale. I wanted to help my Slayer, but I thought she was depending on my too much so I left."He shook his head and looked down at him. A lump grew in his throat since he didn't talk about this with anyone. "Now I wish I would've stayed. Things fell apart for all of them. I didn't even give them a chance to ask me to stay - I just left," Giles said with a frown. "So I understand why you want to stay, Wesley, and I think that makes you a better man than I am."
