current mood: loved

Continued from here.

While Rupert called the estate, Wesley looked back at the computer, and before he realized what he was doing, he was starting to log in to check his e-mail. Before he did, though, he stopped and sat back, shaking his head. No.

Instead, he shut down the computer once he had printed off the receipt for their flight and then looked over at Rupert, smiling when he hung up the phone and told him that it had been snowing in Bath. "Snow," he said in awe. "It's been so long since I've seen snow."

He let Rupert help him up from the couch and followed him into the bathroom. The numbness from the night before had started to wear off a bit, mainly because of his lover's presence. If he hadn't been, he might have hidden himself away.

In the bathroom, they started the shower and stepped in together. As the water cascaded down over them, Wesley smiled, rubbing his hands over Rupert's chest.

"Have I told you how glad I am that you're here?" he told him softly. "I love you so much, Rupert."

Me and Giles - Holding

When Rupert said that he had liked what they had just done, Wesley smiled against his lover's lips. He had never in his life felt this way before - he felt loved and trusted, and he knew that had never loved anyone as deeply as he did Rupert. Never would.

When they broke their kiss, he closed his eyes as they snuggled together. Between the flight and what they had just done, he had to admit that he was rather shattered as well. A nap sounded lovely.

Although he found himself intrigued by the idea of this shop that Rupert wanted to take him to. Cracking his eye opened a bit, he looked at him out of its corner. "There is, is there?" he asked.

Antique? Magic? The possibilities were almost endless. Part of him wanted to ask, but another part of him wanted to be surprised.

"I think I would like that," he said after they had kissed again. Sitting up, he pulled up the extra blanket folded at the end of the bed to cover both of them. As they snuggled together under it, Wesley let himself drift off into a light sleep, safe in his lover's arms, knowing that so long as together, he'd always find happiness, no matter what else happened in their lives.

Giles - Corner smiling

Giles easily drifted off to sleep, content with being in Wesley's arms. Plus, there was something relaxing about being back at his estate in Bath. It was quiet there and the town wasn't known for it's demons or vampires. He was hoping the holiday would be relaxing for the both of them and things would be back to normal when they got back to Los Angeles.

Hours later, Giles awoke to a sound coming from downstairs. His eyes opened and he looked around, noticing Wesley was still in his arms. It had to be William, bringing in more supplies for them. "It's just William, love," he said, knowing the noise had probably woken Wesley up also. "I'm going down to see what he's brought. I'll be back."

Giles slipped out of the bed and quickly put a pair of pajamas on before padding down the steps. William was carrying in a bundle of firewood and Giles raised an eyebrow. "There's snow forecasted for tonight, Mister Giles," the groundskeeper explained. "I noticed you didn't have any wood. I'll place it in the box in the parlor."

"Thank you, William," Giles said. He was a bit disappointed. If it was going to snow, he couldn't take Wesley into London like he'd wanted to. He supposed he could do it the following day. With a sigh, he climbed the stairs again and went back to the bedroom. He slipped into bed, feeling funny since he was clothed and Wesley wasn't.

"He was bringing us some wood," he explained to his lover as he settled into bed. "It's going to snow later, which means I think we're rather stuck here until tomorrow. I say we laze about and spend the day in bed, napping."

Me - Awake

When Wesley heard the noise, he immediately woke up, his muscles tensing until he was aware of the fact that he was still in Rupert's arms and completely safe. Immediately, he relaxed again and nodded when he said it was just William. He didn't want to let go of his lover, though, even though he had to.

Once Rupert had put on a pair of pyjamas and left the room, Wesley snuggled back down under the blanket. He found himself dozing again until Rupert came back into the room and slipped into bed beside him. Opening his eyes, he raised an eyebrow when he saw he was still dressed in his pyjamas. However, it was his other news that made him sit up slightly.

"More snow," he asked, looking over toward the window. After so many years in California, it really was a bit strange to be in such cold weather, but at the same time... "Well, if we're going to be snowed in, I can't think of anyone I'd rather be with."

Wrapping his arms around his lover, he nuzzled his neck. "I think either you're overdressed or I'm underdressed, though," he said with a chuckle. Not that it mattered - just being with him was what did. "How are your arms, by the way? I didn't tie the ties too tight, did I?"
