current mood: loved

Continued from here.

While Rupert called the estate, Wesley looked back at the computer, and before he realized what he was doing, he was starting to log in to check his e-mail. Before he did, though, he stopped and sat back, shaking his head. No.

Instead, he shut down the computer once he had printed off the receipt for their flight and then looked over at Rupert, smiling when he hung up the phone and told him that it had been snowing in Bath. "Snow," he said in awe. "It's been so long since I've seen snow."

He let Rupert help him up from the couch and followed him into the bathroom. The numbness from the night before had started to wear off a bit, mainly because of his lover's presence. If he hadn't been, he might have hidden himself away.

In the bathroom, they started the shower and stepped in together. As the water cascaded down over them, Wesley smiled, rubbing his hands over Rupert's chest.

"Have I told you how glad I am that you're here?" he told him softly. "I love you so much, Rupert."

Me and Giles - Together

As he came down from his orgasm, Wesley fell almost boneless to the bed, his chest heaving slightly. Several shudders ran through him as he felt Rupert's tongue on his cock still, licking softly. Then there was a shift of the bed, and opening his eyes, he found him hovering above him, calling him adorable and causing his already warm skin to flush even more.

"I suppose it's a good thing I have quite an attentive lover who ensure that I come then," he said before they kissed. He groaned softly when he tasted the slight bitterness of himself, knowing what Rupert had just done.

Cuddling against him when they parted, Wesley pillowed his head against his chest, letting out a small chuckle at his idea. "Hmmm...let's see. Stay in here, where it's warm, wrapped up in the man I love, or go out in the cold to lie down in the snow. If you don't mind, I think I'd rather stay in here with you."

He closed his eyes and let his mind drift for a bit, unable to think of a time when he had been this happy. Well, he was actually able to - before he had left Sunnydale. But even this, here and now, what they had rebuilt seemed to eclipse that because that time had been both too short and too fraught with other worries and problems. It seemed that now, they were truly able to be comfortable with each other because Wesley knew that he'd never let anyone ever part them again, not even his father. He didn't care who knew about them now; in fact, he almost wanted to go and shout from the estate rooftop that he loved the man he was lying with. He was Rupert's, and Rupert was his. For always...and he wanted everyone to know.

"Rupert," he suddenly said, raising his head and looking at his lover, feeling his heart thumping in his chest as he realized what he really wanted. "I...want to marry you. I know we're going to be together for the rest of our lives, and I want to do that as your husband."

With Wes Love

As Giles held his lover in his arms, his fingers brushing through his hair, he began to think about something he'd thought about a lot lately. He wanted to be with Wesley until they were old and gray. He wanted to walk up beside him every morning and fall asleep with him every night. Never again did he want to be apart from the man he loved more than life itself.

"Wesley, I've been thinking and I want--."

Before he could finish his thought though, Wesley was asking Giles to marry him. Giles blinked his eyes for a moment, wondering when his lover had became a mind reader. He was going to ask him the same question. "Wanker," he muttered before giving his lover an amused look. "I was about to ask you the same question, love. Perhaps we've been around each other long enough to know what the other is thinking."

With a swift move, Giles moved Wesley to his back and pinned him down. "I love you, Wesley. I was just thinking on how I want to spend the rest of our lives together," he leaned down and softly kissed him before raising his head again. "Of course, I'll marry you."

Me - Big Smile

When Rupert called him a wanker, Wesley blinked, not quite having expected that reaction, before seeing the loving expression on his face. He had been about to ask him as well?

Rupert wanted to marry him.

Just as that sunk in, Wesley found himself being nudged onto his back, looking up into the eyes of the man he loved. He really did want to marry him - he could see it there in those eyes even as he said it. He wasn't just saying this. He really meant it.

They were getting married. Rupert was going to be his husband.

"Th--thank you," he said, at a loss for what else to say. His heart was pounding in his chest, and his throat was tight, all the emotions inside him almost overwhelming. He had never thought he'd be lucky enough to find someone who would love him so completely, especially after what they had been through before. "I love you, Rupert. So much. I never want to be without you again."

Leaning up, he kissed him again for several long moments before dropping his head back to the bed.

"Not to sound too eager, but can we get married soon?" he asked. "I don't think I want to wait too long."

Giles - Corner smiling

Giles chuckled when Wesley asked how soon they could get married. Since they couldn't have a civil ceremony, he knew the next best thing would be the coven in Devon. "Let me check, love," he said before giving his lover a quick. He rolled off him and picked up the phone to ring Priestess Raven about setting up a binding ceremony.

After a few rings, she answered her phone. They two quickly caught up and then Giles asked his question. The Priestess gave him an answer, and some details of the ceremony before ringing off. Giles smiled and placed the phone down on the cradle and turned to look at Wesley.

"Raven can do it on Yule, which is in four days. They want us to have the binding ceremony and then have dinner with them," Giles explained to Wesley. "We also need a witness from outside the coven. Someone we trust with helping with the binding. I thought perhaps Fred be the witness. I don't think Buffy or Dawn will be available to do it and I think Fred would be the perfect choice."

Me - On the Phone

When Rupert said they could get married in four days, Wesley found himself grinning. "Yule will be perfect," he murmured, giving him a kiss. He couldn't think of anything better than getting bound to this man he loved so much on such an important day of the year.

"Fred would be perfect," he agreed, knowing that of everyone, he would want Fred there to witness their marriage. Fred was his closest friend and the person he trusted the most. "We should probably call her and let her know now so she can make arrangements."

Looking over at the clock, he relized that it would be about seven in the morning in Los Angeles. Fred would still be at home, which Wesley was actually glad for. He rathered not having to call Wolfram and Hart about this. Reaching over for the phone on the nightstand next to the bed, he dialed Fred's flat and waited for her to pick, hoping that he was right and she actually was home.

"Hello?" she finally answered, sounding a little groggy.

"Fred, I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"

"Wesley! No! I was...well, yeah, had kind of a late night at the office, but I needed to be getting up anyway," she told him. "How are you? Enjoying your vacation?"

"Immensely," he responded, giving Rupert a smile. "Actually, we were hoping you could join us here by Yule in four days."

"You want me...? Not that I wouldn't love to take some time away from here and come over, but I thought that you two wanted some time to yourselves. God knows you deserve it."

"Well, we do, but we want you here because we've decided to get married, and a coven in Devon that Rupert's worked with is performing the binding ceremony--."

Fred practically squealed, cutting him off. "You're getting married! Oh, Wesley, that's great news! You want me there for the ceremony?"

"Yes. We need a witness from outside the coven, and both Rupert and I want that person to be you. You're my closest friend besides him, you know."

"I know," she said softly, and Wesley could just imagine her smiling. "I'll make arrangements to fly over and be there."

"Let us know, and we'll pick you up at the airport. Oh, and Fred...pack warm. It's been snowing."

Fred made some noises about having to go shopping before saying goodbye and hanging up. His smile widening, Wesley hung up the phone and turned to his fiance. "One witness-slash-friend on her way. Now, I believe you said something about going to London? Think we can still fit that in before Yule? Maybe we can pick up things for the ceremony too while we're there."

Giles - Happy big smile

While Wesley was on the phone with Fred, Giles slipped out of the bed and padded over to the window. When he looked out the curtains, he was surprised to see it was no longer snowing. In the distance, he noticed the county road was already being cleaned up. He was rather sure William said the snow was to last all day.

Giles went over to the dresser and picked up his mobile phone to ring William. After a brief conversation, Giles rung off and slipped into bed just as Wesley was finishing his own call. A smile lifted on his face when his lover told him Fred was coming. He had always liked Fred and liked spending time with her.

"Good and I have some good news myself," Giles said as he nuzzled against Wesley's neck. "The storm has bypassed us and the words to London are clear. If you're up to it, we could go to London now, and pick up the things we need. And if it gets too late, we can stay at my old flat. The lease is still not up on it yet."

He wrapped his arms around Wesley and pulled him closer. "Or we could just stay here. It's rather up to you, love," he murmured before softly kissing him.

Me - Smirk

Wesley smiled when Rupert said that the storm had passed. As much as part of him wanted to just stay in bed with this man for the rest of his life, cuddling him and shagging him into the mattress and being shagged by him, he knew that there were some things that they needed to get if they were to get married.

Rings for one. He wanted to wear a ring to show that his life and heart belonged to Rupert.

"I..." he started to say before kissing him for several moments, his hand trailing up Rupert's side to wrap under his arm. When they broke apart, he rested his forehead to his. "Staying here would be lovely, but I think I should like to go to London. I'd like to find a set of wedding rings for us. And something to wear to the ceremony - not just something that I brought along with me. Plus, there's still the matter of that mystery shop you mentioned."

Pulling back, he took Rupert's hand to draw him to an upright position and kissed him again.

"And you know, the sooner we get all that done, the sooner we can cuddle up back in bed again," he reminded him, a smirk tugging up one side of his lips.
